FEELS REAL TO ME G25 FFB for GTL
Description
These settings have been painstakingly developed by myself to try and give you more realistic information coming through the steering wheel. (Couldn't have done this without Jul's awesome FFB guide, infinite thanks.) :-).
There are a lot of alternative FFB settings out there but hardly any actually alter the way in which the FFB is calculated and ultimately how you feel it through the steering wheel.
What I have done is change things so you get more information about the mass transfer of the vehicle as opposed to only getting information about the grip of the tires. Also the forces you feel from the tires are now being generated 100% by the front wheels. You can still feel what the rear tires are doing but the forces now come from the mass of the car acting on the steering rack instead of the grip of the tires.
I have also removed steering damper and friction effects, which simulate multiplication mechanisms/power assistance, so you feel forces generated from the tires and suspension without distortion. For me this gives you the most realistic information about how the car is behaving but it may not be everyone’s cup of tea.
These settings we’re made using the G25 so they will work best with that but I have no idea what it will feel like with other wheels.
If you haven’t read the read me, read it. There you will find settings for control panel and in game rotation.
I hope someone will benefit from having these settings. As I am not capable of modding or building tracks this is my way of giving a little back to the community.
This GTL version is based on my GTR EVO settings but there are various changes made to better suit the GTL cars.

Just copy the FFB text into the correct place in your plr.file.......
C:\GTL\UserData\yourname
.and away you go.
Then use these settings in control panel.....
Overall strength = 101%
Spring and damper strength = 0%
Centre spring = 0%
As for rotation and lock values I use the same for all GTL cars.....
ALL GTL CARS.900*.34.5*
You will find that with some of the original GTL cars, especially the TC 65's, the FFB still feels very light. To combat this I usually increase the FFB multiplier in the HDC.file of the car. This will cause mismatches online so If you don't want to be booted you could just increase the overall force in the control panel. Increasing the caster can also help with the light feeling.
All of the addon cars should feel great though. Especially the 935, BMW 2800, Porsche 904, Ferrari 250SWB, Skyline, Corrolla, GT40 MKII and the list goes on…..
If you want to understand what I’ve changed and why then you will need to read Jul's excellent FFB guide...
