Description

1968 #4 corvette that was raced at 24H LeMans in 1972

drivers: Dave Heinz & Bob Johnson

it was painted in Ferrari colors because they acquired an unused entry from the American Ferrari team to get into the race....in exchange they were obliged to run the car under Ferrari paint.

the car finished 7th in class and 15th overall at the 1972 24-Hours of Le Mans race

also finished 3rd overall at the 1973 24-hours of Daytona, 6th overall at both the 1972 and 1973 Daytona races, and started on pole at the 1973 12-hours of Sebring.
