Updated AIW file for the Long Beach 2009 v1.0 track add-on by Khan1670

(the Long Beach 2009 add-on requires the LongBeach2007 v2.5 track to be installed)

Approval of this edited AIW kindly provided by Khan1670.

Updated AIW Version History:
Version 1.0 - 04/29/2011

* Fixed the problems at the Turn 1 left-hander, that allowed AI cars to frequently launch themselves into the air over the high curb. This caused the cars to become very unsettled and often caused large pile-ups that were especially bad at the start of the race. The AI cars now use the lower, safer part of the curb, and accidents are much more rare.

* Improved the driving line approaching and going through the chicane just after Turn 1, which decreases accidents at the chicane. When cars became unsettled at Turn 1 they often caused accidents entering the chicane. The line through the chicane itself has also been improved and the cars now navigate it more consistently.

* Moved the pit-out driving line much closer to the wall on the right, to decrease interfering with cars that are on-track approaching Turn 1.

* Improved the driving line through the hairpin. AI cars can now navigate the hairpin more cleanly, with fewer collisions at the apex and exit. Overtaking in the hairpin is now more feasible and safe.

Instructions:

* Be sure to make a backup copy of your existing 9LongBeach.AIW file before using this updated AIW file. It is located in the GTR2 "GameData > Locations > LongBeach2007" folder.

* Extract the updated 9LongBeach.AIW file into your GTR2 "GameData > Locations > LongBeach2007" folder.

NOTE: Use of this edited AIW may cause online mismatches.

This AIW update has been tested on the original Long Beach 2007 track's 7LongBeach.AIW file, but some problems still exist. I would recommend using the Long Beach 2009 v1.0 track add-on.

The LongBeach2007 v2.5 track can be found at the NoGrip > Downloads > GTR2 > Track forum:
