Description
This mod was previously named "Ghost car in multiplayer" but I changed it to clarify it's function - it allows you to disable collisions between you and your opponents.

Compatible with:
- patch v1.02 from Origin
- UCP v1.06

Three different installation options are provided:
- addon for UCP v1.06
- for unmodded game
- loose option for injecting

I decided to create this mod because lag of 500+ms was killing the mutliplayer experience for me (I live in Australia). This mod now allows close racing without frequent unexpected accidents and still allows the fastest driver to come first.

It works by providing an infinite amount of time in ghost mode after you hit the "reset" button (thanks again for the idea djotefsoup!). Normally this only lasts for 3 seconds to prevent accidents with cars that suddenly appear on track when they are "reset" from the gravel traps. So, the ghost mode only begins once you've started a multiplayer game then hit the "reset" button. You will need to ensure that you have assigned the "reset" button in the controller menu. You will need to reset at the start of each race. If you only race with one friend then only one of you will need this mod.

Readme
Three different installation options are provided.


* Option 1 - Ghost car addon for UCP v1.06:

Make sure you already have UPC v1.06 activated. Then, copy the "1 Ghost car addon for UCP v1.06" folder to your "MODS" folder and use JSGME to activate it.

JSGME will say something like, "Warning - "PHYSICSBOOTFLOW.bff" has already been altered by the "UCP_v1_06_JSGME_install" mod, enabling this mod *may* have adverse effects on your game. Are you sure you wish to enable this mod?"
This is fine, click the "Yes" button and you'll be done!


* Option 2 - Ghost car mod for unmodded game:

I recommend using the UCP mod and the method above, but if you don't use the USP, then use JSGME to install this version.

JoneSoft Generic Mod Enabler (JSGME) can easily install and uninstall all your Shift2 mods, download from:
http://www.users.on.net/~jscones/software/products-jsgme.html

If you're not going to use JSGME then backup your original "\Shift2\Pakfiles\PHYSICSBOOTFLOW.bff" file and replace it with the one from "\2 Ghost car mod for unmodded game\Pakfiles".


* Option 3 - Loose file for injecting

As an alternative method of installation, I have separately included the edited physicstweaker.mrdf file from within the modded bff. You could edit/inject it you already use a modded PHYSICSBOOTFLOW.bff file.
