The Gear Ratio Calculator can be used to edit existing GTR2 and rFactor gear ratio files, create new files, or simply as a calculator to quickly and easily determine driver and driven gear values (number of teeth) for a specific ratio.

Changes in Version 1.40:
- Once again fixed an issue where files containing spaces in the name could not be 'found' by the GRC.
- Updated the application to enable reading numeric values defined in scientific notation in the relevant files.

The Gear Ratio Calculator can be used to edit existing gear ratio files, create new files, or simply as a calculator to quickly and easily determine driver and driven gear values (number of teeth) for a specific ratio.

Credits:
- Rot Teufel and Aga04 (aka Gufo_Trave) for the Italian translation.
- Citytea for the German translation.
- Olgeo, creator of an Excel spreadsheet that triggered the idea to create this application.

Installation:
The application is available as a standard MSI installation. Once downloaded or copied to your computer, simply double-click the Gear Ratio Calculator Setup.msi file and follow the installation instructions.

System Requirements:
Anything that can run GTR2 will be more than sufficient.

Software Requirements:
- Microsoft .NET 4.0 or later
- Windows Installer

Changes in Version 1.40:

Changes in Version 1.31:
- Thanks to Rot Teufel and Aga04 (aka Gufo_Trave) for providing the proper Italian translation, the UI will now display the correct Italian text.

Changes in Version 1.3:
- For some reason some of the correct German translated text reverted back to the old incorrect text, so here is another try to get the UI to display proper German text. Apologies for this!
- Italian translation added. Once again, Google Translate was used for this, so please let me know if the text is not correct or does not fit the context of the program.

Changes in Version 1.2:
Where possible, German text was updated with the proper translated text kindly provided by Citytea. Thank you Citytea!

Changes in Version 1.1:
- French, German and Spanish languages added. Google Translate was used for the translation, so if the text displayed is not correct, please let me know what the correct text should be so that I can update the project.
- Added changes to enable application to work with GT Legends.
- Fixed number format (decimal separator) issue that caused incorrect display of Max RPM and calculated speed.

The main purpose of developing this application was to familiarize myself with Visual Studio 10. As a result, it was not tested on rFactor since I do not currently have rF installed on my PC.
I will be more than happy if someone finds the application useful. If you have suggestions to improve useability or find a bug, please PM me!
