Rally Track Is On My Nerves

Hi everyone,

Ok, Ive installed about 80 tracks so far and I have them all working properly except for one and the track is called "Rally Track". I am getting 2 error messages when I try to load the track in Rfactor and they are as follows:

1.) Error loading texture SHANDONDX for material ROAD03

2.) Global error for material ROAD03

I check the folder of Rally track and here are the files that came with the download and they are as follows:

rally.mas
rallymap.mas
rally.aiw
rally.cam
rally.tdf
rally.thmb
rally.scn
rally.gdb
rally_loading

It seems like the download didnt come with the trk file for this track. Ive downloaded this track from a number of various sites and I get the same outcome everytime.

Can someone tell me how I can get this track up and running or if someone has a working version of this track. Could the possibly send me the file via megaupload or rapidshare? It would be appreciated. Thanks.

rfactor tracks dont use .TRK files,
they use .GDB :)

OK, So any ideas how to fix these 2 errors?

Looks like yout missing a the texture files for road03 file. I have those problmes all the time with rFactor tracks, especially after a update for the game itself comes out. It's why I gave up on rFactor. I would spend hours getting my favorite tracks to work troubleshooting them , then a update comes out and then they all don't work again.

Do a search for the entries in the .SCN or GDB files (whichever, both if you like) back up the file before you edit out the entry. Then see if the track is driveable.

That means it can't load some texture file for some material, maybe it doesn't present in the map MAS file.

2.) Global error for material ROAD03
The second message pops up because of the first one



There's no need to start dig in the scn files...

d/loaded both, Rally Track and Rally China from RFC, and theres no material assigned for texture named SHANDONDX in both of his releases. So it will be hard to say what the error caused by.

maybe you have some previous version?

check that the paths are correct

I have it correct. Not sure why its not working.
