Is there anyway of checking the tyre temperature and the engine, damage etc

Is there a way of setting this up or a mod?

you can get tire temps from the indash motec, but you have to be in cockpit mode. it will not show damage though.

im going to try to write something like this summer, but a bit more involved. there is one out now i saw on rsc, but it uses the gtr-pd ocx which is slow and eats fps. i think it was done in vb, which would explain the slow.

Don't need anymore fps eaters, do what you can and when you can. Hope your feeling Ok and everthing is going aleady. Focusing on this stuff has help me with my flair ups some keeping my mind focused. Good luck on this new project.

I run GTR2 PD Monitor, developed by [NFBS]Nye, on a networked laptop to display important data in real-time. It doesn't slow my frame rates at all.

You can display the data on a second monitor, a 2nd networked computer, or as an overlay. Placing my laptop next to my gaming rig monitor works best for me.

Does the indash display depend on the car?

I'd never been able to see the tyre or brake temps until I just now tested it in the Saleen.

Up to now, using the space bar has done nothing for me.

what im envisioning will be just a .dll that drops in the gtr dir and provides the motec data and replaces the stock hud.

i wish i could run a 2nd computer, but i don't have another 75ft ethernet cable to reach my office from the gateway server. so i need an all in one solution that runs inside gtr/gtl

Yeah, running cables can be a pain. My laptop is networked via wireless ;)
