The ol' "I cant get online missing serial # " problem!

Ive seen the threads here and at RSC (im missing my online code as well)
Ive contacted Viva media through the GTL site 3 times now..as well as wrote them directly from another site..the total comes up to about 5 times now.

For anyone else whos had this problem how long did it take to hear back from them?And what did you say to them to get them to respond?

im thinking a phone call is the next step unfortunately :confused:

Unfortunately, that link actually brings up a "Get your Starforce Code (http://gt-legends.com/onlinekey_en.php)" page despite what its text says!! I can't believe it still has the wrong text after all this time. :down:

Thanks again to everyone for their help.

I just got off the phone with Viva tech support and they said they would email me an online key. The online key doesn't have to match the CD key# apparently.

The web site code button just wasn't working.

Waiting anxiously for that email now...

He received the code (and then had some problems because the Lobby was down when he tried to use it). But it looks like he received it within an hour and a half from his posts.

So I would certainly try the phoning route. :)

Yes, Heeby, I Pm'd the unfortunate fellow to tell him about my link and it was a case of "Been there, Done that". I thought it was a bit odd that he had missed the obvious. :p

To have a web site that's out of date. Very poor show from a computer software company.:(

I gave Viva a ring the guy told me it could cost me $300 and Id have to wait three months :eek:
My response was "Yeah right!" he started to laugh said he wanted to hear my response then asked my email addy and just like that I got my number and have since been online :D
