Hi There,
Just wondering if anyone can help with an issue. I had a problem a once before, when i was in a 03 championship with the GT class i get has far as Spa round. I'd get to the loading screen and go all the way too abou have way though the chequred flag crash. I informed to download a updated version of my graphics card (Radeon 9700Pro) which i did and fixed the problem. My issue is very similar but i have passed the Spa round in the 04 Championship and onto the next round. Now what happens is it gets half way though the loading line and crashes. I download and installed a new version of my graphics card which has done stuff all. Anyone have had this problem or no what i should do???

Thanks Heaps

Do you have mods installed, like tracks and cars? Maybe backing up your profile and save games and reinstalling GTR2 will fix the problem, or install GTR2 to another directory without any mods, and copy over your profile and saves to the new installation and see if that helps.

Hey Freddy,
Thanks for your reply!!!! Yes i do have Mods installed. I tried what u suggested do & it worked. I copied my profiles and gamedata with the mods in it to another drive. I reinstalled GTR 2, then copied my profile in but not the gamedata folder with mods. Tried the game and it worked fine!! I was wondering if it's got something to do with the last mod i installed or is something else? Cause i liked to pin point the issue and fix it, cause i liked to play the game with the mods.

Once again thanks

It might be a good idea to install one mod at a time and test to make sure it doesn't cause any problems, atleast that way you'll know which mod causes it to crash. I've had problems before where two particular mods worked fine by themselves, but when they were both installed at the same time the game crashed.

Go into your GTR2 folder. Find the GTR.exe icon the one you double click to start the game. Then right click on it and go down to where it says Create shortcut. Do that and you will then have a Shortcut to GTR2 icon. Right click this icon then go down to properties and click that and go to the Target line. It should say something to the effect of "C:\GTR2\GTR2.exe or something like that depending on where you have the game installed. After that type this in there, " -trace=1000" without the quotes. Now when you start the game, start it with the shortcut and under the Userdata folder is another folder thats called Log. In this folder you will have a text file called trace. This file can be opend with notepad or if you double click it it should open right up. When your game crashes this text file will tell you what the game was looking for when it was trying to load.

Hey There, just stumbled on the problem with my game crashing when loading the season! What i have found is that i had installed 05-06 chassis mod for the Maserati MC12 and trying to run it in an 04 championship season and it wasn't liking it!!!

Once again thanks for your help :thanks:
