Hi,
I just got RT last week and I love it but I almost can't read the menu's text. It's like if there was fog in it... I had to guess to enter stage one...
Looking here I had a great surprize to see that menus can be clear (screenshot) so there may be a solution for me...
My system:
MSI K7N2G Mobo
Athlon XP 2100
512mb DDR 400
On board GPU (GF4 MX) Video
SB Live
Momo wheel
Thanks

Yes it is patched. (it was a new RT .exe file) to install... INstalling it didn't ghange a thing in menus visual.
It's not like being a litle foggy, it's completely unreadable text. I got into "rally" option because it looked like a 5 letters word...
I saw a screen capture in the forum ant there is no comparison point between those and my screen...
[edit] I had the same problem with the demo and my GF4 Ti card...
hi.. the only thing I can think of is in display properties/direct3d options you should have some sort of performance or quality options.. and these must be on performance setting now
I've only ever seen the text in RT go blurred when I start my game with the options set to performance on my radeon gfx, and I'm told there are similar options for nvidia gfx
hope this helps

Thanks Ken, I'll try to look at it ASAP (hopefully before W.E.)
I don't think I'll be able tonight as I have a GPL race...
Maybe you have so small resolution that text is unreadable... :headspin:

LOL... What I can't use 200*120 resolution ?? :P
I race GPL with the ADC (Average Drivers Club) A great gang of gentleman racers.
Sadly, I had no time for trying the fix proposed and I missed my race too

I had the same (similar) problem wiith NFS Porsche
after upgrading my card to Gforce FX 5200.
The menu text became very blurry, hardly readable.
The solution for me was to change in the NVIDIA driver
setup: (translated from Swedish)
Performance & Quality settings -> "Edge smoothing - Program"
(Its the middle slider)
I put the slider almost all to the right
hope it helps

that's another thing then... :(
i hope you will solwe it :)
Yes, it sounds like it could be related to anti aliasing (or edge smoothing), a graphics feature that can be set in the driver tabs. Try playing around with those settings. You may also find a setting called something along the lines of "alternate pixel center" that could be the solution. If you need more info, I recommend asking at the forum over at www.nvnews.net.
Good luck!
