This spreadsheet is an aid for car builders, it will NOT impose my opinions on your final product, but I hope that it will make tuning the car's behaviour more logical and consistent.

There is no substitute for test driving and experience, but with this you will understand better how and why your car works.

EDIT: I have missed an "=" value in the gear chart against 6th gear, rather than upload a new file you will need to add this value in whether or not you have six gears.

Should this work in OpenOffice? Well i don't understand a bit how this thing works :confused: :)

You need to be able to open Excel files. I have just emailed you something that may help.

My problem is that i don't know how to use that, when i open that in OpenOffice i see this:

I don't know what OpenOffice is. Did the file I emailed you not help? If you can open that exe file, you should be able to use the file open command to open the calculator spreadsheet.

If that does not, I guess you need to get hold of MS Office (EBay?)

The 2007 Real Tyre Mod includes a newer spreadsheet for car physics:
