View Full Version : Will Ralf Schumacher be driving at the French GP?

We've got a couple of weeks to argue this one out :D

So, after being a complete waste of money for several years, being the most pointless driver on the grid.......Ralf seems to be going downhill fast (not that I'd want my opinions to influence anyone in this un-biased poll ;))

Will Toyota bite the bullet and shoe (no pun intended :o) in another driver for the rest of the season?

Quite possibly give Franck Montagny a run in France and start looking for next season's hot prospect..........

Not only he's a crap driver in a crap car, he's nothing similar to his brother:( ( But I'm not in F1 so I should shut up )
Which is what bothers me, cause the commentary on my home TV channel, he keeps reffering him as Schumacher, not Ralf. So its sounds like this:

- The McLaren's blast off exiting the first corner, overtaking behind and it seems Schumacher stalled it and is down to last place:mad:

PS Anyone know where can I find a clip of a race in which Ralf finished a race with 3 wheels? I remember this from the ninetees seasons. Anyone remembers?

Half Schumacher... well... even not half unfortunately. the real question is :" Has Ralf Schumacher ever been driving a F1 car this season?"... He is indeed in the car but the word driving is a bit strong.

There's no doubt Ralf is a waste on money but I think a bigger question is: How long will Toyota continue to throw money away on their crap F1 program? They certainly didn't become the worlds largest auto company from such irresponsible financial behavior.

And Ralf still has the hottest wife so that should count for something.

I have never been a fan of Ralf, and am amazed he's been in F1 as long as he has. We know he can turn in a blindingly brilliant performance - he's done it before with Williams. But they have to be on certain "good" days, otherwise he's absolutely nowhere.

I'm not going to diss him and say he's rubbish, because on his day he can beat anybody. Trouble is, he's never on a good day, and hasn't been for years. Quite why Toyota pay such ridiculous wage demands for him is beyond me. In fact, quite why Toyota bother with F1 is beyond me. They must have some huge amounts of spare money to burn...

Toyota had a decent season a couple of years ago, and they were looking promising but they have just been nowhere these days!

I like Ralph soo much better than his older brother. He comes across better on interviews and the way he handles himself. But he doesnt seem to have the pace this season. Note I put this season, meaning that normally he is a contender for big points and podiums, I would blame it on the car... I can remeber somebody last year saying similar things about Button before Hungary :D
