One of my team members is having probs and I don't know quite how to help him on this one. Thought maybe some of you would have some ideas.

"gets to the 1st screen for about a second, then machine seems to restart, over and over, cant get it past that screen.Checked connections and looked for and evidence of damage to MB, could no see or find anything."

"i cant even get into the bios, i see the 1st screen which has..........

AMIBIOS (84-97) ...at the top, it dont even get to the memory check, i see the AMIBIOS part at top, then it goes into a restart loop, and thats all for about 1/2 second, then it goes black, starts all over again"

Any ideas?

If nothing to try, try the following:
Totally power off the PC such as unplug the power cord, remove all the cards on PCI slots and then power on again.
