Leaving in the morning for mid-ohio.cant wait. anyone els going?

Yep my dad and his buddy and myself will be there. Heading out in the morning also. Hope to get there when the gates open at 7am :)

We'll have a Ford Explorer GT black with cobra wheels and a black pontiac grand am. Stop by in the camp ground if you see us and say hey...

ALMS race was amazing. Every class set new lap records. Very exciting. As usual the Porsche Spyders took overall victory :)

Just to note some of the new lap records per class:

Indy Car - 1:06.8375
LMP1 - 1:09.435
LMP2 - 1:08.510
GT1 - 1:16.568
GT2 - 1:19.951

This should give you an idea on exactly how fast the Lemans series is. Unfortunitly no game mod has yet to replicate the speed and handling of this amazing series.

To give you a slight comparison... the top lap time for a Daytona Prototype was only in the low 1:18's this year.

ALMS race was amazing. Every class set new lap records. Very exciting. As usual the Porsche Spyders took overall victory :)

i should still talk about lime rock :p, that was a long time ago lol, i always forget, tomorrow, that day had a lot of stuff, so it is still worth telling

Blame it on Audis' pit crew. Audi was getting the better of the Porsches untill their second pit. Pit crew took too long on re-fueling and it cost them the race.
Overall, a great weekend of racing. Never seen MidOhio so packed! The crowd was bigger than Super Bike weekend.

I thought the crowd was huge also,thats why i left with about an hour or so remaining..I was watching Audi practice pit stops on sat. morning....they were off then.guess they never got it together.

Biggest crowd I ever saw there. We left after the first Indy race on Sunday. Couldn't even find a place to park. And people were still comming in. The road outside the main gate was backed up both directions. Amazing!!!

I was just watching it,the commentator said that Honda had given it's employee's aprox 15,000 tickets.maybe that had something to do with it.

Second race in a row that they have tried to take each other out. Funny thing is the same guy owns both cars. Imagine how he feels!!!
