Regarding the miniature track layout that displays in lower left corner
when you select a track... They are supposedly BMP files which
Photoshop generally reads, but sometimes Photoshop can't 'parse' or load
the file. Seems like hit and miss... anybody know what's going on here?
On some add on tracks there is no PSD file and I've been successful
at making up some and installing those that were missing (just for personal use) but there's no guarantee the track layout will show up in the game
either.

um... oops... sorry about my last post...I think I figured out the problem.

Seems the PSD files have to named in a way that's consistent with the
.trk, .gdb files etc. They might be case sensitive as well... not sure.

Hey there!...they are actually a .TGA (it has a Transparency Channel for the Track Map Surround!), but you HAVE to Rename the Extension as a .BMP for it to show in the Track Selection Screen.

Dont ask me how but it works!

hope that Helps, cheers, analog.
