Again i am first to make a time :D
I guess that it will get beaten by a mile, but as the first time it will do.
3.13.10 :ace:
With monsters
BTW: Congrats to tjth-that was one monster drive on russ4 :trophy:
3:20,73
I need some more practice, try to improve...
think your time is really good, Pero. It will be hard for tjth to get a 2.xx time :D
Are we doing this with the original gearbox or is changing the box to longer/shorter ok?

As far as i know all the ingame settings are valid(slider options). So i guess that you can choose whatever gearbox you want.
Thats what I thought too :) One right seems a lot faster than one short, judging by the first few split times (before I crash :P )

Confession time, I used my "own" Alpine - make you own minds up if it gives me any advantage.
Off to try some different settings now :P

Damn! So close to you Pero :)
I will come back tomorrow, if I am not too tired after school.

I'm looking for a thread for original physics ( I've tried to download the TT_all in one patch 3 times but keep getting "Cannot download, connection was reset" message when it's nearly finished downloading :(
well.. I thought we'd try it with just the realistic physics this week as onyl 2 people did a time for original last week.
As for the d/l thing not sure why its doing that, but I will email you the file if your mailbox can take a file that size ?
GregoryB
23 March 04, 17:50
Well I often receive cars in my mailbox so it must be as big as a garage ;) Yes, please send me the TT all in one file, Ken.

As I said I did come back ;)
Its really hard to drive on limits with TT-mod.. I'm learning all the time better driving techniques.

Sorry, wrong replay file, this one won't play. Please upload the file from your SaveGame folder, replay0.dat is the first slot, replay7.dat the last.
I don't know if your own version of the Alpine gives you an advantage, will have to check with the management. :)
OK, will do when I get home - NP if it does not count, I am never likely to get on the leaderboard anyhow :D

OK. 4th time lucky. I've just downloaded the TT all in one patch, so thanks Ken but you don't need to send it.
:OMG: I did a best-time-so-far :OMG:(3.09.47) ... Thats something :P Still pretty much to improve, but im fed up with the "realistic" physics, so maybe someone else will do the improvements  (probably wery soon). Maybe the "original" would be wortha try
Edit: and didnt last long. And now i´ve restored the real original physics, aah, so fun to drive, now there is more that 2 ways of getting in the curves(like a train or like a sledgehammer). Bye bye modphysics  :)
It aint pretty, but its 3:10.12 (animals included)
I enjoyed watching that replay, nice drive
I resaved mine - not had time to go for a better attempt yet :P

Not so hot, anyway...
3:14.38 (creatures on)
tjth, not only fast, but also a beautiful run. Not even a scratch in the paintjob
Thanks Ollo
Yes it was in a good shape before that pinball machine at the end :headspin:

26 March 04, 22:21
3.37.80
Not very quick I know, but it'll have to do until I get used to these physics. A bit too floaty and bouncy bouncy for my liking but I'm determined to give it some more time. Not sure how to go back to the old settings, anyway. On the other hand, maybe I just need an :elephant: in the passenger seat.

This bloody understeer forces you to make some strange ovesteery things. :P
have no time to drive the whole week over, even not today. Had only this one run on monday. next week I will try my best, hope then I will be faster. btw, great times tjth
3:03:87
This is a bit crazy at the end (and actually it isnt so fast at all) but hadnt more patience to do it cleaner.
