Hi. I represent a team of drivers willing to gain some international experience in a good rfactor VLN league during the (spring-)summer.

I've seen a number of VLN servers, most of them have passwords. Googling led me to some german league, but none of us in the team can speak german :-(

Our recent league experience includes:
endurance GT1 and GT2 racing

and prototype (ILMS) endurance racing

PS.
We don't care that much about any certain car class to enter, all we want is long races at the 'ring (preferably with driver changes).

If you know a decent VLN league please let me know.

Cheers,
Denis.

Hi! I race in the psx-racing.de VLN 2005 league, and I dont understand German. ;) All important messages are in English & German, and I use google translate for the post race stuff from the Germans. There are two grids of 54 drivers, and grid 2 is the "international" one with drivers from 7-8 countries. The races are two hours long, follow the VLN calendar with no driving aids except the ones the real cars had, and no driver changes.

Don't forget about the Force Cockpit View, which is really cool. ;-)

I had a look on the website and forum.
Both Grid 1 and 2 have german and non-german drivers. What's the difference between 1 and 2?

A question on classes: there's like a million of them on real VLN but I saw divisions 1, 2 and 3 there in the league. Where can I read about how classes are grouped and which cars are available?

Is it possible to enter a team with own name and livery? If not how are teams formed?
Please give me a few links with info on how to get started.

Thanx!

PS: nice videos there, stabiz.

Hehe, I always race from the cockpit, so I wouldnt notice that rule.
;-)

Modbaran, there is no difference apart from the fact that there are more non-German speakers in grid 2, so more of the conversations are in English. Of course, with google translate thats no problem anyway,

No, custom skins are not allowed. There is a waiting list, and people do retire from the league now and then, so there is a fair chance to get in before the next race. (I have not looked at the waiting list, but I think so) Teams are formed by going here: http://vln.psx-racing.de/ logging in and sending a request to a driver in the same division. I he approves you are a team! :)

All you have to do is register at psx-racing.de and write in the waiting list thread at the psx-racing.de VLN 2005 Info & Talk part of the forum, and state which car you want in what Grid. Thats it. In the same forum you can see who are signed up and what they drive, and also what cars are available in the three divisions.
