Detail 150

Does anyone know if increasing the detail level to 150 in visual settings under environment will increase the damage level on the vehicles or is this just more detail on the cars and tracks.

more detail on cars/track. When you say more damage, what were you thinking of?

I think it just controls how the game scales details based on distance.
Even at the lowest settings, things should show their maximum detail when you are close up. They just switch to lower detail models as you go further away.
