F3000: Race07 vs rFactor

Can anybody compare the F3000 of Race07 (demo at the moment)
with the F3000 Mod of rFactor and post their impressions here? TX!

No :) GP2 replaced F3000 to some extent but F3000 is still going.

Simbin employed Alx Danielsson (F3000 driver and sim-racer) to help develop the F3000 physics. Unless any of us has experience of driving a F3000 car I think we are just going to have to trust him :)

rfactors version is called rF3. So far I prefer it.

I think the rfactor version has cleaner looking graphics and sharper handling than the race07 demo F3000 but we have to wait for the full game.

I don't think there is an F3000 for rFactor. I can't remember one.

My mistake i meant rf3 :o although i do stand by my opinion that from first impressions of race 07 the rfactor cars drive better, even if its not a direct comparison.

First impressions are not always spot on. Give RACE 07 a fair shake, take the time to tweak your settings like you had to in rFactor, and I'm almost certain you'll be in for a very pleasant suprise :)

While the F3000 cars must be the plainest open wheelers out there - even the rF3 looks more interesting and I'm not totally sold on the Helmet-cam, the physics do feel good to me (who has never driven a racing car). The force feedback is very informative and you feel like you are driving on grippy slicks.
