Is it only me or has the update tonight totally messed up driving physics?F3000 feel very "arcade-like" now, no fun at all...:down::down::down::mad::cry:

Yes I noticed the same thing. I had played the game about 12 hours previous and thought the physics were excellent. But when I loaded the game it automatically updated it and in the game the car felt completely different. Like going from a sim game to an arcade game and it was especially noticeable with the F3000.
I have tried messing around with all the Realism settings but to no avail.
I sure hope they return this to the way it was, because I think this update has ruined an awesome game.:mad:

You can almost drive as fast on the grass than you can on the road now without losing control, too.
Hopefully it's just a bad joke... :?

I'm guessing they messed something up REAL BAD, like road physics for offtrack physics and that sort of stuff

get used to it . how can they call this a new game. there on drugs. I 'm not getting screwed twice .it's an expansion pack nothing new here. They could of just released F3000 like they did the caterhams and it would be the same game.WTCC Race. nowhere near GTR2. and I hope very much GTR3 doesn't end up like this.

From Simbin:
There was update from 1.0.0.0 to 1.0.0.1
However it only fixed a bug for VGP (Virtual Grand Prix) lap reporting.
No other changes whatsoever.
BTW...the demo ROCKS! Full game will RULE!

Maybe the update corrupted the game's files somehow...

maybe is a marketing thing. Maybe they want to hook new gamers. Remember how frustating it was the first time you droved a SIM in realistic mode.
If people don't enjoy the game first time they are not going to buy it at all. For expericence racers they now they can change stuff in the future and have a good game.
Give it time , the game is not out yet , is just a Demo !

Why do people keep saying silly things like "it's only a demo, wait until the full game is out" ? The demo is supposed to be representative of the finished product. If it isn't, then it's utterly pointless !!!!

If a demo is released before the full game then its inevitable that it won't be exactly the same as the full game. For GTL, the handling of the Corvette and Elan were different in the full version. With GTR2 they reduced the frame-rate hit of using the motec display in cockpit for the final release. But the demo will give you a good idea of the general quality of the final release. The full version of RACE is due in about 3 weeks - it won't be radically different to the demo and it should be slightly better.

I just updated my Race07 Demo today... twice.
The first time I had almost no FFB and the game
drove arcadish. After the second patch (1.0.0.2)
my F3000 behaved even better than with the first
version of the Demo. Ensure you run the update to
version 1.0.0.2 (lower right corner of intro screen).
