Well I'm 2 hours behind you so it hasn't started here yet, 45 minutes to go. I gotta get some lunch and some Coke for my Bourbon (I can't watch a V8's race without having a little drinky poo's, bad habit). All Ford front row, atleast the Holdens aren't far behind. It would be good to see Courtney get a podium (even though he drives a Ford), that guy's got talent, it's only a matter of time before he's winning races.
Edit: That crash didn't look too bad, I think it's more sideways head movement that causes injuries, the spine is designed more for moving forwards/backwards rather than side to side.

A few of the non-regular drivers drove an excellent race, particularly Richard Lyons and Alan Simonson finishing 10th in the #88 Vodafone Falcon, an excellent result for two guys that haven't much V8 experience.

Wasn't Lowndes fuming. Murph was about to go a lap down in 10th spot, and the car in 11th was miles behind, so he had no reason to hold up Lowndes, he would still get the same amount of points whether he finished in 10th on the lead lap or a lap down. The lack of blue flags was pretty poor, the marshals at some of the races need to be given a hurry up on some of those decisions, they can ruin a guys race and never have to face the consequences, although most of them are volunteers, so I guess it's up to race control to ensure those sort of things don't happen.

Thanks for spoiling that. I'm just watching the delayed flag2flag coverage. Don't throw with stones if ya sitting inside a glas house

I didn't say who finished in 1st - 9th places, 10th isn't much of a spoiler.
I guess you are right though, I did contradict myself, so I apologize.

they were lucky with the weather it hit about 15 minutes after the race and it hit BAD. corporate marques flying around lots a rain.
Carrera Cup on the sunday morning was GREAT top 3 battling all race then on the last lap 4th crept up and took the podium from nowhere (not that i'm biased towards the PCR cars:p) Dave wall was plagued with bad luck he was one of the fastest cars out there but continually found others in his door :(.
V8's were exciting until the first pit stop then they spread out (was also about the same time i retired to the corporate facilities...) I was happy to See JB and Webb do well (up 17 spots). Alan and Richard had a fantastic race -- i feel sorry for Alan who had 888 F&^k up his LMS season by not letting him defend his lead in the series at Silverstone (aparently v8's are the only series in the world that counts!!!!)
