Australian netKar PRO league!

Anyone know of one? :laugh:

I can't find anything at the moment, but if you viewed this thread thinking "hmm...an Australian time-zone netKar PRO league eh? I might be interested in that!" ....then please post saying so, 'cos you never know, if 50 or 100 people do the same, perhaps someone with the means and know-how might try to organise and host something.

Dunno. GPChampionship.com forums might be a good place to ask because pretty much everyone who plays NKP is there. I'm not sure it would be kosher to ask on another league's board though. It seems to me that there are probably 100, maybe 200, or so people who play NKP seriously, total. With it's hardcore mode though, it really ought to be great for a league. At least if your friends are willing to take a race that seriously, which most people aren't.

You really might consider joining up with GPC. Those guys are from all over the world, though I can't see how you could possibly satisfy every timezone. If you look and all of their scheduled races are incompatible with Australia, maybe then it would be cool to ask there. I dunno. At the very least, it would be good to dig through their forums.

RSC would also be a good place to ask if you haven't already. We'll have to see if it genuinely picks up again though.

Yeah thanks Aero. It was mainly just wishful thinking!

I't's good to see RSC is up again, as that used to be the focal point for netKar apart from GPC.

I did run one round with GPChampionship but tbh found it all a bit too serious.
I wasn't even able to pre-qualify for the second round.

I seem to be a minority of one who is keen ona bit of lighthearted fun with nKP (in my timezone anyway).

Finding a league which is more about fun than deadly serious competition is hard enough, findning a nKP league that is more about fun is mission impossible! :laugh:

There is a weekly netKar PRO (1.3B) race being run on Thursday nights for racers in A/NZ. The emphasis is on having fun and close racing, which we achieve with a ballast system that is working well.
