Now, teams, car skins.
The Teams, will be your own, this way, each driver can skin his/her own skin, however he/she likes, there is only rule in the skinning, and that is that you use the Number sticker template, relevent to the class of your car (http://www.gtr4u.de/jgs_db.php?actio...gs_id=830&sid=)
and we can find a Nogrip, Best GTL Driver!

If your interested, in racing, or with the general organisation, as many will probally know, im not too organised , post a reply, or PM to me, so i can sort out the best time, and days for the race, and the number, of each competitor, and please let me know what car your going to be using, (I think im going to use a Etype Coupe)., At the moment, were looking at a Saterday night.

We don't get a 1310? Maaaaaannnn... I can't drive the default Mini (I'm worthless in it).

Is the 1310 competitive with the Cortina and the GTA?

You can try them (:mrgreen:).

What a 1310 is: a Mini without the weight, and with less power.
However it is, on average, a lot faster than the default Mini.
It has wider tyres and is therefore faster in corners.
Brakes are same but weight is lighter (so brakes better... although it does skid a lot).
It's a mean critter though due to the fact that most weight got off on the rear... :laugh:

On a twisty track it will outrun the Alfa (corners and shorter gears).
It will not outrun the Alfa in a straight line when they both have long gear.
The Alfa is also faster when accelerating - FWD Mini will burn the rubber.
A 1310 will be faster than the Alfa in longest gear, but take way more time getting there (if ever).

I'd say I'm quite good with a 1310, but an accomplished Alfa pilot will get me.
When I am in an Alfa, I'll end up somewhere midfield on the TC-65+ server.
I am a bit quicker in a 1310, but most advantage is that I crash a lot less.
My ability to react to other cars and stuff is way better than in any other car.

Some people say the 1310 is insanely unbalanced though and crazy to drive...
same as people said when the real Mini came out. For me, this is THE Mini...
I have raced them in real life and cannot get used to the default Cooper S.

Key to being faster is to go nuts on the corners.
Go very fast into them, and let the rear break free and slide.
Control the car with the power to keep the front end pointing the right way.
Too much power, and it will understeer into the hedge, too little and the rear will overtake (back end into hedge).
Too slow and the back end will not slide and you'll get terminal understeer (handbrake, or left-foot-braking.... :mrgreen:)
too fast into corner and kiss the world goodbye...

Some say it is in GTC-65 territory, it probably is for one or two hot laps.
the tyres do not last long on any Mini :-P

I have recently seen it when testing the TCR and I thought " ooohhh sh...'
I think I have never had such trouble with one skin, I dunno what caused it.

I think that you shouldn't use the purple one, I mean, it seems to perform reasonably well alreadyfrom what you have posted on it. Oh, and the Abarth CBR1000RR would be for GTC-TC 76.

Uhhh... the purple one has now ~ 300,000 km on it, gearbox is shot.
The engine is due for overhaul. Might put it in the green one after that,
and make the purple one an EXTREMini... or EXTERMiniator... heheh.

Contrary to some people I really use the cars, raced the hell out of the purple one. :mrgreen:
It also needs some welding, the horses have pulled some bodyparts to shreds...
You wouldn't believe what happens to a car when you do stuff to it...

Historic Mod is better then GTL Original.:-(
Thats the Reason why i cant race that orig GTL, GTL was my favorite Simrace Game..but today it doesnt tease me after i felt Historic.

Best inform the admins that the account is for your dad.
Else they might think it is you getting 200Mb a day from the download section ;-)

I have seen people do such stuff, so if one IP is using two accounts the site has an auto-ban and both new and old account will get banned.
So... best get clearance from admins. :thumbup:
