I thought I had all the components set for my new system, but now I am not sure. I would like some opinions on the best motherboard as well as video card. I am trying to keep my budget around $1400-$1500, which will include the monitor, OS and Microsoft Office Home/Student edition.

I have narrowed it down to the following MB's:
Asus P5Q-E Green Boars Intel P45
MSI P45 neo-3
Gigabyte EP45T-UD3LRC
Gigabyte EP24-UD3P
Asus P5QC

Video Cards are:
XFX Radeon HD4870 XXX Edition
XFX GeForce 9800GTX
XFX GeForce GTX260
Visiontek Radeon HD 4850

My Power supply is a Corsair TX750
Thanks

Out of the items you listed, I like the Gigabyte EP45T and the GTX260. But that's me.

I have a GTX260 896MB which is factory overclocked, and that has served me pretty well in the last 10 months. You'd be best off looking at bench mark tests and reviews if you haven't already, I have no idea how those other cards compare.

Out of those 4 cards, the 9800GTX+ is roughly = the 4850, and the GTX260 is >= (greater than or equal to) the 4870.
