Yesterday evening somehow I realized that 1100cc A110 would be quick to do... So, I took original A110, replaced it's 1600cc engine with the one in REAL Renault 8 Gordini 1100cc one and transplanted gearbox from the same car... result was very good already, but as Alpine is lighter and has seriously smaller coeffient drag, it needed a new gearbox as with default final drive it topped in 140km/h already. Again I went to my editing folders to check out all GOrdini info I had for REAL development and made new 4 speed gearbox using Gordini homologated ratios. (it is almost Gordini 4 speed street gearbox, but first gear being bit different.)

Now it is fantastic. I just love it how it revs and handles. with longest final gear (which is a lot longer than all the others) it goes 205kph in Mulsanne as long as driver has patience. (tacho gets 7000 rpm, while limit is 7700rpm so it runs out of power.) which seems to be very well in line what it should be capable of.

and this all just in 2.5 hours. :) (not to count the 20 or so used hours put in the REAL Gordini though. :D )

so, where I need the help then? the body styles in game do not include the original one with four headlights and I think this mod would be just perfect to have that... change to original bodystyle2 is not that big, but it still needs to be done. Anyone up for a challenge? picture of original front end below...

Hoping this to be my first real contribution as member of this team... I think it will make a good competition against Grantura, Elite and up coming Spridget. (and yes we do need more these small engine GTC cars! :) )
