I Bought The DVD But..

..really hate having to spin up the drive every time I want to quit the game and try a new set of cars. If anyone has a no-cd exe would you pm me, and I'll shoot you my email addy to mail it to me. I am having some very slow responses from any torrent file I try to get it from.

If you have installed the online version you do not need the DVD.... The online version also can be played in offline mode.... :up:

I installed both offline and online from the DVD. I forgot I can play the online version offline too. Thanks guys. A no-cd patch would still be nice to have though.

Hmm... from what you say I understand that I could use the "Online" version
to test locally ("Offline") so, if I install both versions I'm just stuffing my HDD
with an "Offline" version that I do not really need? :confused::confused::confused:

I think if you want to try the addon tracks and cars etc you will need the offline version, I dont think they currently work online, but I could be wrong....:rolleyes:
