Remember my van got smashed up just before Christmas?
I got it back from the panel beater in July, then the engine blew up, then the gearbox lost 2 teeth.
Now after $18,000.00 ($10.750.00 courtesy of AAMI) it's on the road again and running great.
And I don't park it on the street anymore.

One day I'm going to have a Moggy Traveller with a 1800 K-series motor and modern tyres on minilites. :drive2:

nice... I'm surprised that AAMI come to the party usually there as tight as a fishes ass. What sort of van was it originally when it was a work vehicle all those years ago?

One of the reasons is took so long to get fixed was the negotiations to get the money. The repair bill was $12,500.00 and AAMI offered 8K to start with. The $10.750.00 I eventually got still didn't cover the full body repairs but at least I managed to save it.
I have no idea what it used to do for a job, but it is my work vehicle, and has been for about 15 years.

Yes there is a small problem with the right hand door, it goes up a little when you close the lock. I don't know what is causing it.
