Ummm...

Is it going to be anti-deco or Altbierbude Lobby fix?

Hehe, you got in before me Z...Bude lobby seems to work for me, but then anti-deco always has too....guess it depends on where the server is set up.

Thanks SunAlp

All looking good.

Hope we get more people turn up. First time I've done OldRing and it's a lovely flowing track.

Come on in folks!

Sorry folks. On the grid, engine running but just no throttle or pedal input. Lame duck. Sorry. :crying:

Did somone put invisible blocks of concrete on the track at the chicane, or what??

Got blocked or made a silly mistake on every hotlap in qually, and the race continued in much the same vein. Most frustrating - one to forget for me..

Congrats to podium and finishers.

Seemed OK to me Frex. Had that once before though, in another league at Fuji70, first turn. If I drove the 906 an invisible bump just threw the car up in the air :?:. Other cars were OK & no one else had the problem! Try dling the track again.

A race to forget for me too:-(. Got into the lead on lap 1 but at the final esses I held the gear change too long & changed down 2 gears instead of 1 & spun into the barrier. Came in for repairs as the car wouldn't steer properly, but after that the steering was still not right. Crashed again, more repairs, steering still all over the place. Crashed again so gave up. Not one of the best car/track combos.

I expected nothing, drove carefully & managed to finish. :)

Finally I found myself a stable Escort setup (accidentally destroyed all my setups, so I had to tweak the setup from scratch), with a bit of luck (hit nothing on L1) managed to carry on, and hold and eventually increase my pace.

Finished 4th with 5th fastest lap of the lot (or those who finished?) - couldn't have dreamed of a better return to online racing  !

Well that replay makes for some interesting viewing!
I clipped the grass approaching the chicane, got out of shape and went through much slower than normal, causing Malcolm to hit me from behind (really sorry about that :-(). Saw the huge gap appear between the top 3 and the rest of the pack and spent the rest of the race thinking it had been all my fault!

All too last minute from me, way too much of a rush to get online. Race was a disaster as a result, ending in the wall with a blown motor. On the plus side, a few decent laps of practise just got me well into the 2.04s, so wnr will hopefully be better....

First race with my new rig which was nothing short of a revalation! Silky smooth graphics now..... Qualified well in 6th then got caught up in the melee at the chicane on lap one  Battled back to 10th but must apologise to an over eager move on Ketiyama as I think it finsihed your race very early so sorry for that. Looking forward to more Escort action on Wednesday!

no but... see here

Some people took liberties with the apex "furniture", and left booby traps in the form of dead poles for those (like me) who were staying nicely on track.

Note that your replay might show the poles in diffferent places e.g. (see the last in the picture sequence) where Fillneuve gets kicked up a bit, even though my replay shows "his" pole was about one metre away from him.

Very entertaining 1st lap - if thats the right word;-). That could be the biggest pile up I been involved in, in my 3 years or so here. It doesn't seem to be anybody's fault as far as I can see, more the track. Those rumble strips at the chicane do seem a little temperamental online. I drove the 250 SWB at an enduro a few months back (anyone remember that) and I had to steer well pretty clear of them to avoid the risk of somersaulting, but here the black Escort felt fine- I wouldn't say it was your fault John. 1st lap is always very tricky in the Escort and Pantera - dodgy rumble strips don't help.
Amazingly, after a roll and several large impacts, (apart from a redesigned roof) I had no handling damage at all - and was able to carry on and work my way up the field. Notable scraps with Daz and Cap - but Snow - you were damned hard to catch!!! If it wasn't for that spin I doubt I'd have got past you:thumbup:.
Always thought the Escort was a nasty little car but that's the 1st decent setup I've created for it and it was fun. Gonna keep hold of that.
I should mention, I passed Cap unfairly as he was letting the front runners through at the chicane last lap - so for the record I was 6th.

Yes, the other reason I don't drive the Escort (#1 being the horrible noise it makes). I would be grateful should you let me in on the secret to making it drivable. After the race Marty351 reminded me that I could overwrite the sound files, so I might even choose to drive the beast some time.

Shame the 914 is't competitive as it feels fairly good here.

Apologies to Laverda (I believe that's who I slammed into in the chicane). When you missed the entry on L1 I couldn't get slowed down enough to steer clear. Hope that crash wasn't the one that took you out of the race. My 914 was undriveable after that until I pitted and had the crew fix everything, so I don't expect your Escort was in much better shape.
