If you have the steam version and want to get rid of the two intro videos, extract the attached archive into the main race07 folder, no files will be overwritten.
Note to moderator: maybe add a "Misc" folder to the race07 download area.

Thank you mojo. Although I do think the intro with the cars lining up is great work. It's something once I've seen it a few hundred times, I can do without it now. Thanks again.

For the record, if you take one of those files and copy it and rename it to "nvidia.bik", you can also remove the NVidia intro video every time.
However, I haven't been able to remove the Viva Media intro yet. I have a total of 4 intro videos, and the file download only accounts for 2.

There are 4.
The replacements can all be from one original. The original is simply a very short, nothing content .bik. If you have the two from the download, simply copy both and rename the copies. Do it right in the file.
The names are as follows:
Nvidia.bik
SimBin.bik
Race_intro.bik
partner.bik

As I said it's only for the steam version, didn't know that the DVD version had more intros.
Darock would it be possible to create a 'Misc' folder in the downloads section for those kind of files?

Sure would be possible. Just like the Misc folder in the GTR2 download section. I'm just the hired help, so I will have to talk to the boss(es).

Ok, silly question time. Someone give me a correct path for these please. Tried several places in my steam folder and cant seem to get rid of the intros. In my offline install (yes I did both) I just renamed the .biks, to .bak and got rid of them.
I've tried:
D:\Race07_Steam
D:\Race07_Steam\SteamApps\tommytrauma\race 07
D:\Race07_Steam\SteamApps\tommytrauma\race 07\UIData
TIA T.T.

It's not strange that the mainline is looking for .bik files and if it doesn't find them has a default of some kind. Providing the files to find guarantees that the code will use the almost empty ones when they're there.
What is strange is the folder that holds your install. This is the structure that my online install created:
C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\*****\race 07\UIData\Movies

Well, that worked just dandy!
No vidieo's!
Can we get rid of the 40 seconds of waiting in the voids of space hoping that the game will start once we click the icon/whatever?

You can skip them by hitting ESC, return, enter, space, mouseclick.. or whatever. :)

I'm sorry, I meant the void, it's 50 seconds long on my machine, that begins after you first double clicked the icon on the desktop or click on steam to run the program. The time that it takes for steam to prepare[?] and start the game to the point where the first visual confirmation comes that you did initiate the simulation.
With the big movie missing, I don't even bother to "hitting ESC, return, enter, space, mouseclick.. or whatever" to end the other short intro pages. It takes only 15 sec for that slideshow.

If you want to skip the 2nd intro in RaceOn as well, you have to double the Race_intro.bik and rename it to RaceOn_Intro.bik.
Or just unzip the attached file into your race07 folder.
