Hmm not sure what that is.
GTR features all the cars, drivers and tracks from two full FIA GT Championships and challenges casual racers to become world-class drivers. Directed by professional racing driver and former FIA GT Team Owner, Henrik Roos, GTR sets new standards for racing realism on console. GTR is expected to ship globally on Xbox 360 in spring 2007.
"THQ and SimBin are no longer working together on the GTR Xbox 360 videogame", a THQ spokesperson told us this afternoon, adding that "Our focus within the racing genre is continuing to build THQ's internally developed Stuntman, Juiced and MX franchises."
GTR is a hardcore racing sim series that's already established on PC and the Xbox 360 iteration in the series was due to release this spring. Whether GTR on Xbox 360 will still see the light of day now that THQ has dropped it is unknown.
GTR developer SimBin had not replied to a query regarding GTR on 360 at the time of writing.
Looks like it may have been a game at one time but never came to be possibly because THQ pulled out or because simbin moved on to Race Pro.

Dream on. That is what was going to be published by THQ around the time GTR (or GTR2) came out on the PC, then as scca1981 said THQ pulled the plug (or something else went wrong) and left SimBin hanging, so they moved onto making Race Pro.
And if it were coming out SimBin would be plugging it on their Farcebook and Tw@tter feeds and THQ would have a marketing campaign going.
Try pre-ordering though, see what happens, you might just be right. ;)

Yes. Sadly Porsche and Ferrari (and Maserati) pulling out of the FIA GT license left Simbin high and dry and the game was canned. The GT cars which tthey could get a license for like the Aston appeared in Race Pro.
