Honda Accord in 2007 Champ?

I'd like to race a Honda Accord that I've skinned in the 2007 championship, but I don't want any other 2006 cars in the championship, is it possible to just add my Accord to the 2007 championship?

One of two ways.

1) Car filter. Just create a new filter, and add the Honda into 2007. Think that works.

2) Copy the Honda folder from 06 into 07, and play about with the names to try and get it to show up in 07. :P

Other than that. Not sure. I'll be creating my 2008 Touring Car Fictional Mod soon, so will want to do what your doing in one way or another. I'll keep you posted if you want.

Car filter adds the original Honda's too, if you move the original team from the folder, Honda doesn't show up in the Filter list at all.

Moving the folder to 2007 won't help either as its the .car file that denotes what class it's in and they are encrypted :(

Ah, but there is a decrypter! Muhahaha!!

Yeah, if you're wanting to show just your car ingame, you have to do a standalone version of your car.

Basically, make a new folder within Honda, and copy the .car file from JAS Motorsport into your new folder. This has to be decrypted, so that you can open that in Notepad, and find the genstring. Rename this to what number your after, for example 00099. Put your name in here etc etc. Save that, and move your custom files for your honda into your new folder, and make sure its named 00099_Honda........... etc. For a full list of what the dds files you can make, look at the Honda.ini file within the Honda folder.

I've done this method for all my FBMW, Caterhams and Mini's. Soon, it'll be the touring cars!

OH, and either delete or move the JAS Motorsport folder to another location on your PC. This should work. Any problems, don't hesitate to ask!

I've done this for all the BTWC skins so I can just have a grid of BTCC cars.

I've attached a screengrab to show how it's done.

One thing to add.....
If you put in the new car file:

Model="Alfa Romeo 156 2007 BTWC"

For instance, then you can use the car filter to just select the models of your choice.
In this case, adding BTWC to the model name allows me to select just all the BTWC models in the car filter.

I can put the Honda into the 2007 championship.
But i need some new skins for it. There were 2 Honda's 2007 in the WTCC.
