I have a very strange glitch in my game. When I go to view "my Cars" and select the Corvette, what ever I do to this car (change wheels, change color, change vinyls ect...) the next car in the "my cars" menu has the exact changes. This next car is the GT2 Porsche. This only happens with these two cars. It doesn't matter which car I choose and make visable changes to, they both will have the exact changes. It also happens when I choose the GT2 Porsche. These are the only two cars I have this strange glitch with.
Anybody have any ideas?:?:

Yesterday I discovered that the Porsche Cayman that I had meticulously painted had lost all its colour :( I think that happened after selling a car from my garage. So strange things can happen in the garage...

I didn't sell any cars. I was trying to make the Corvette look more like the GT1 Corvette and when I was finished I was paging through my cars and the GT2 Porsche was painted just like my Corvette. When I changed the look for the GT2 Porsche back to how I had it, the Corvette changed to the exact same look. Very strange

Nobody else has this problem?
Even after newest Patch, I still get both the Corvette and GT2 Porsche looking like twins!
No matter what I change on one car, when I check the other car it has the exact same changes.
If I make the vette black with different wheels, the GT2 Porsche automatically has the exact changes. And vise versa. Make the Porsche Red, the vette changes to red. ect, ect, ect

The flashing paints in the garage have become worse for me after patch v1.02, though I'm not sure whether it has a relation with having renamed the executable to GRID.exe (the ATI driver then uses specific optimizations for GRID that may not work out well with Shift).

However, in-game the paint doesn't flash, so it's something specific to the garage graphics...

I believe with the newest patch you can't rename the exe to "grid" anymore.

Not true. renaming still works and helps like a charm.

ahh ok. Hadn't tried but I read that on the EA forums I believe. I used to have change the name but the game improved a good amount with the second patch so I no longer needed it.

Renaming still works and for me still makes a significant difference in smoothness of the graphics :)

Should point out that much like using the nocd, renaming (rather than copying and renaming) shift.exe to grid.exe is one of many things that will cause the patch indigestion giving you the 1.02 exe file. But you can do what you like after it's patched.
