Found excellent city venue

There is a German website that has a history of very good downloads. They've done Leipzig from GTL/GTR2 and it's very good. Cobblestone sections, over bridges, very good eyecandy like gaslights.

And what was icing on the cake was the way the AI ran it. They did their usual but not quite so bad.

It's an excellent in-town track. It's especially good if you like highspeed sections in town. A number of very high speed chicanes.

Do you know what the car xFiles are used for or how they are used? they are at this site also.

I believe they are the shape files that allow you to view the cars in a 3D renderer.

Yeh it lets you view your "wip skin" in eg. Right Hemisphere's "Deep Explorer" or "carviewer" as long as it's saved as a ".tga"... It makes it a whole lot easier than having to save your Template as a "D3D" and then having to load the game to check it out - then having to exit to edit - and so on, repeat,repeat,repeat these actions - tedious mafrien'.
