Second source would be welcome.

First news: Hamilton says he is prepared to take the role that FA had last year within the team: #1 pilot. That sounds funny to say the least....i thought there has never been #1 and #2 at McLaren, ever?

Second news: Anthony Hamilton wants his son to be a stocks market product. If true, this is going too far. I think they will waste the guy too soon. If this is true i pity him, for the kind of pressure he will have to withstand. Can you imagine it? You loose a championship and hundreds, thousands of anonimous people might loose big money....i wouldn't do that to my own son, no matter the money involved.

Well. You cant realy get around the fact, that Formula 1 is the playingground for some VERY rich people. I see no problem in that idea tbh. If its legal, its all fair game imho.

Anthony Hamilton wants his son to be a stocks market product.

And he will always be on the side of his son, whatever he does he will monitor it.

Justin Wilson floated himself on the stockmarket when he got the chance to go into F1, other drivers have too so it's not something new.

I guess you'd never want your son to be a F1 driver then. Even without that "Hamilton being floated" thing, there is already lot of pressure on him and his results have a big influence on the company that hires him and all its employees.
Huge responsability.
I don't like that idea to turn people into financial products but once again, if it turns out to be that way, no one is forced to buy Hamilton stocks... so if they do, they should know the risks they take, if the guy appears to be a bad driver pushing the wrong button at every race or even if he's hurt badly...

Quite a few drivers do this now so it's nothing new to the sport. I'm not saying it's a good thing, just not a new thing so it's not news really.

As for the quote about Hamilton well I'll believe it when I see it coming out of his mouth. Seems to be a lot of BS in the press about him at the moment. I guess that's part of being flavour of the month.
