What one thing in the setup garage seems to work for you, that you do automatically the first time you run a new track?
Something that is, other than starting to adjust the camber and tire pressures?
I've found that every car so far needed the brake bias of 60/40 knocked down a bit. But it's not something I know how much will be needed.
Anybody have something they do automatically?

Honestly?...I change the steering lock and leave everything else alone until I know what I need to change first. 99% of the time its gears first...

You know, there seems to be two basic setups that you can start with. The default is simply the settings that come when the code runs through the definition data and inherits those values. They aren't chosen for anything other than most times they're the middle of the range for each particular setting.
And then there is the SimBin two, one for wet and one for dry. And that one seems to simply be a default that sets a somewhat more intelligent value for most settings. It really looks like they copped out on doing anything that would take much effort.
I've do basically the same thing except I load the dry Simbin setup. And immediately add some air to the tires. For the WTCC cars, the tires are always too low by about 4 clicks. Might as well start out with a bit better traction.

You are right, I forgot that I usually load the default dry first!!! The defaults ususally have "some" of the understeer dialed out of them...

It is interesting that there seems to be a default for each track, both a dry and a wet one. But they don't seem to take anything about that track into consideration.
