Volume on the tyre screeching? [Archive]

Does anyone know where I can turn down the volume on the tyre screeching? as it gets a little annoying after a while when wearing headphones!

I've looked at all the .xml's in the Audio folder and several other vehicle .xml's but cant find anything...... :angry:

Goffik made a mod for that. I think it's available at RD.

If you run the unpacked version then you can experiment with changing the values in the file surfacesoundconfig.xml provided with the download and which is located in the Audio folder of the game.

If you run the packed version then you'll either have to edit the provided file QuieterTyreSqueal.zip.bfi, or ask Goffik for a new version with zero tyre scrub volume.
