Windows 7 64 bit and 3ds max 8

Does anybody know if you can use 3ds max 8 on windows 7 64bit, I'm going get windows 7 but i want to be able to still use max 8 because i do modeling for rfactor? Oh yeah, what about 3dsimed also? Thanks!

If you get the professional version or whatever it's called, it has a windows XP mode.

i found out after researching that max 64bit support didn't start till 3dsmax 9
