Can anyone help me explain what this means? Looks like more than one problem to me, missing .hdc files and non-existant tyre brands...
Getting frustrating!!!

With the trace.txt file all you should be worrying about is the last few lines. But saying that and looking at your file I really don't have much of an idea, other than its something to do with the safety car. The non existent tyre brands and missing hdc files are nothing to really worry about.

Thanks HR. It seems to be happening more and more frequently, the whole system freezes when loading a track, and I am lucky to get the "GTR2 needs to close, send error report". I thought those messages may have helped me track the problem(s) down.
I've read somewhere deleting the HAT file of the last track you tried to load works, any ideas if that is the case?

seems like you're missing some .tyr and .hdc files, if they not in your gamedata\teams directory you get a ctd
try to reinstall the mod maybe that could help
i don't think that it has something to do with the safety car

Hmmm my trace files always contain some of these lines regarding .hdc and .tyr files. Usually the problem is at the bottom? But I could be wrong!
Dave, I'd suggest looking at the cars u have installed and pinning down the problem one at a time. Do other cars work on this track? Do the original P&G cars work? From there I'd try and look at the differences in the cars files (if there are any).
Also how far across did the slider get when loading? I find car problems usually happen near the end of loading.
All that being said I noticed this is an online trace file, I don't race online, and I'm not sure of the differences between the online /offline trace files (If any). Does the car load on the track offline?
Hope you get it sorted.

I'm getting ctds whether on or offline, and I would say it is about 2/3 of the way across. It pauses at this point even when it works, just doesn't start moving again when it ctds.
Is there a list anywhere of the official P&G cars that came with the release? I'm thinking the quickest fix would be to remove all the add-ons, check it is ok without them, and then maybe re-install the add-ons one at at a time with a proper test of each one.

Usually the trace designates the failed car, so I'm not so sure what is going on. It seems to be a different problem than just one car.
Also, I've run a few trace's (goes with the territory of making standalones, and I still have trouble making sense of most of them) and it has never looked like yours.
Could I suggest, moving your current teams folder out (to save downloading all the cars again). Do a fresh install of P&G, then install the extra cars again.
(I did have trouble with V1.02 of the 23c car in my 1966 Mini Bathurst team, I hope that's not the culprit :o )

I get some ctds when I take a screen shot, and hit CTRL-ESC to go into Paint, when I come back into the game, it nearly always crashes. This type always gives the "send error report" which at least gets you back to the desktop. The track loading error freezes the whole machine, so you have to do a total restart, complete with the DFP dance of 1000 decibels self-test, which is very annoying!
Went through my car folders, and found some Minis and Elites I had installed incorrectly. They were in separate Mini or Elite folders in the Mini/Elite folders.
I'm trying to do the system maintenance on my machine, and the partition where GTR2 and P&G is takes forever, so it must be very scrambled.
I think I have learned to put one add-on in at a time, test it, and then do any more...and girding myself for this separate install business...
