Guys, it actually looks like nVidia.com doesn't have that plugin on their website now.

They've got a search function and it doesn't find anything like it.

You think maybe they're not going to be supporting DDS anymore?

Yeah? 1.3 seconds beats not finding it at all.

So how did you know to bypass the www.nvidia.com site and go to the one you did?

Guess they only want developers to find it.

GIMP 2.2 can edit .dds files also. It is 100% free and relatively easy to use. v2.4 is out now, but I use 2.2 still. GIMP is LEGAL free under the GNU license, not "Bit Torrent Free" like so many people have of Photoshop. Plus IMHO it is easier to use than PS.

I got the dds plugin for photoshop but it won't let me save a psd file as a dds still. It won't let me "open as..." a dds either.

The error message for trying to save as dds is "you must save the file as a copy to save as dds", but it greys out the "save as a copy" option before it asks..! I highlighted the option before changing the save format and still nothing. Anyone help please?

Try Flattening the image before you save as DDS....Ive had that problem before aswell, it still crashes every now and then, or maybe try the gimp? :up:
