There have recently been some awesome times posted by MINI drivers in the hotlaps.
Would any of you guys who've recently done some MINI hot laps be willing to upload some TA files for those tracks. It might work out to be something really great if the idea caught on.
Plus, I'd really like to learn how to hustle a MINI around and can't seem to get the hang of the sucker.
Zandvoort Club would be a great one. The most recent MINI times there are in the 1:14s.
David? Sludgey? Femto?

I probably already uploaded one in-game for Zandvoort Club/Mini, though I'm not sure if it was my fastest... I've attach a copy here (I hope).
I don't tend to use Timeattack mode unless someone asks :drive2:

OK, I figured out something from Sludgey's post. His first sentence sounded like he must be talking about online and that TA files could be found there. So I just made a point of looking.
I didn't know they existed in STEAM. I don't run TA there. Run everything offline except for the races online when the spirit moves me. And it doesn't move often. I just got back from a game of bumper cars online, which is why I don't do it often. anyway....
I found that some decent times are uploaded online as TA files. That function is really a useful resource when it's got info there. kewl..........
The way I would use it is to pull the uploaded TA into a TA session online, shut down from there and copy the file out of the STEAM/RACE07 folder, paste it into the offline install's folder and use it. Cutting STEAM off except for when I'm running an online race seems sensible to me.
So this works for me. If you're like me and learning tracks and cars and want a source of TAs of decent lap time, some online ones are there to use.
