can't download new cars

I am having a problem with down loading new cars- I have used winzip and am trying winwar, but can't get it to work. All the information/data is there but there is no picture of the car in the game. Clicking on data causes the game to crash. Any suggestions? thanks

What cars did you download?? Did you load the mods for those cars?????

I suppose the most important thing for a newbie to consider when installing new cars is "Have you downloaded a new paint for an existing body style already in the game, or is that download for a mod you haven't yet installed?"

You must read the 'Readme (View)' that is just below and to the left of the the large 'Download' button where you got the car to start with (here at No Grip). Also read all the text above the 'Download' button that may mention you need this or that 'mod' in order for the install to work.

Additionally, there should be a 'readme' inside the download once you've decompressed it. Read that, too.

None of this is really very easy for people new to simming. This reply doesn't help much, but should give you food for thought.
