Im lil bit worried that we wont be able to edit sounds, because all the sounds are archived in one file: sounds.dat . I tried atleast 5 different programs to see if I can extract the sound files, but no luck  . I wonder if anyone has any idea...?

Perhaps there is a way to associate the outdoor sound with the indoor cameras? (BTW, sorry if this is in the wrong thread Florenzo, feel free to move it as you please :) )

Well, with the outdoor view you get a different engine sound. I would be more comfortable with that sound inside the car, although i might not be too realistic.

If the ModUtil appears to lockup, don't worry, thats just the app doing its thing. On a file the size of audio.dat, this could take upwards of a minute (or longer depending on your machine.) Your best off not touching anything in the app while its processing.
This program was written in C#, and as such requires the .NET framework. If it won't load, make sure you have the .NET framework installed.

All the sounds including engine sounds are in audio.dat :). To be honest I have no clue whats inside the eng file. Probably english texts for the menus, etc.... but like I said before Im not sure.
