I am confused. Do you mean in addition to the excellent normal No-Grip servers?
Have there been issues on the servers?
Thanks

While it would be great to keep the driving and behaviour levels high, many that fit in such servers would surely be missing that thread, not knowing such thing has been created, so it would probably spread people even more, working more like a private league server instead of the "refined racing club" that is probably seeked. :-/
...Not directly related, but I would like to add something since it's about GC GTL servers...
In GTC-65 GC servers there's only one track (Anderstorp, always the same track *sigh*) and in all GC servers the usual present (dedicated) admin/monitor has been missing to put some things in order.
I know it's very hard to have someone from GC all the time but especially in late GMT hours there's been some ocasional wrecking and/or bad behaviour with no one from you guys around (like it used to be), with which created -again, ocasionally- the sort of racing behaviour I had never seen going unpunished before on GC servers.
It's a shame that the Power&Glory servers (GTR2 mod) have been pretty much empty (BTW, thanx for hosting it!), in the little ocasions I got people online with it, everybody seemed corresponding to the high levels we all wish for fun and competitive online races.

To be honost im online everynight and people are always able to reach me. msn, email and server chat mostly.
But i don't get informed of whats happening.
Once in a while, 2, 3 times a week, i'll go in with an alias and admin the server without the people knowing who i am.
But to be honost i was on Spa 24 cars on grid and for an public server it went pretty wel. A few incidents but it still public.
And everytime i came in the server in the past just normal as [GC]Whoopster it was "pretty" clean so i thought i get in as an alias but even then it was not realy bad ramming.
You are right Duc when you say that the standard of driving went down as we "left" it for GTR2. (we didnt leave it otherwise i would close the servers down)
But we create the standard and people we don't want to be a part in our games should be banned And lets be honost the regular drivers know eachother and we know new names and see fast enough if they are clean, fair and respectfull or not........ Let's get rid of them!! :D
But actions need to be taken for that. Just a pm, msn message or email and we will sort it.
That the GTC-65 only Anderstorp shows is because people don't use it mate or don't vote for the next track. ;)
My general idea for the V.I.P. server is that there are enough regulars that can get together private when needed.
Imagine this scenario(it was my thought ;)):
You get on the open public server TC-65, GTC-65 any.
The public servers are 24 slots now. And if you gather 8-10 regular drivers there are still 14-16 "public" racers.
Now these eight drivers can choose to go to the V.I.P server where the rest of the regular drivers automaticly join because there enough drivers.
The people in the public will notice and will search a way to get in and race with the beter drivers.
I don't think we are the only ones that hate to be smacked around.
I think/thought we have enough regular drivers to drive together. And it's not only here or GC, why not SJ which already are regular visitors and the other leagues/community's.
That would be the big differance from a passworded league server.
A passworded league server stay's still in one community/league.
And no kliest nothing wrong with the NGR server and i do now realize that you run the fun events to and servers that are pw'd for the public.:o
Just some complaints on the GC public's and ive heard roumors that it would be appriciated to have a pw'd server so i tought i poll the public and regular people using our servers.
Damn do you have GTR2 finaly under controll, can i start from the back on Legends :roflmao:

Man I used to keep watch and kick many foolio's but alas...for alot of this year i wont be able to or at least, very little.
I jus dont have as much time now at the moment but I have noticed the community getting less respectful in my last races.
GTC-65 always starts on that track but it can be changed.
That server used to be mega popular but last time I was on, people was jus in TC-65 so i stayed there.
I might go online sometime but right now when I'm not working or going gym I'm programming and working through my Web Manager course.
Also, there's another mod in a different game that I am lovin at the mo and since it hasn't been aired much yet I'm keen to stay with it, being a hardcore fan of the original. :)

Being brutally honest with myself, I have to say that some of the frustrations that I have exhibited on the TC65 server and the GC forums have been due to my rather excessive responses to certain events. Whilst some of the guys on the server have annoying habits (driving too close to my rear bumper on the approach to corners, forcing their way past through gaps that simply don't exist, and a general "couldn't care less" attitude when bumping others off the track), I admit that my reactions are sometimes a bit too harsh. I tend to take things way too seriously, and that has to stop.
I apologise if I have caused any offence on the TC65 server (or anywhere else), and I will do my best to restrain myself in the future

You think ur harsh.......
I don't give those people you discribe an other chance.
boot/ban/bye
Exept when they are regulars and as i stated before i do not mind being punted of track by someone i know and seriously does everything in his power to drive clean and fair. We all make mistakes......
Mistime a brakepoint or entry, exit of a corner.
It's the risk real racers take and it can cost their lifes as proven in history as we lost a few exelent drivers.
The only thing it does for us is wait a few laps and GAME ON!! :roflmao:
