Submitting Hot Lap Times

I have tried to submit a HOT LAP time for the new Ford GT, but I can't find this car on the selection list and it won't accept a new entry.:confused::confused:
What did I miss?

I'm very sorry, but if you browse from the menu to: Hotlaps / GTR2 / FAQ & Rules, you'll find this:

5: No modifications to the game files are allowed - this includes addon cars.


I guess we could use a new upload "group" for cars that are non-standard (and P&G cars :D) for show offs and other purposes ; )

Or maybe hotlaps that are not driven with a standard model could be filtered out when so requested (tick box for it?). And of course Top3 rankings should be listing standards only.

I have thought about this also, and convinced myself that there may be no way to validate that the lap time is legitimate for a given car with an approved engine file etc.
Would that be an issue?
I guess, your suggesting that the "non-standard" times can be shown, but not included as "validated" within the listing standards.
I don't know how much interest there is in this feature, and I don't intend to make additional work for you guys if there is no interest......your call. I suppose file storage could become an issue for the replay files??
