When i have the g25 connected i can play and make use of it. but when i plug in the joystick , it takes over the g25 and i cant make use of the g25.
i downloaded the JoyId but still cant make use of the g25. Can anybody help me and point me in the right direction.

I was thinking about gettin an attack3 to use in richard burns rally just like you described...

have you already tried to set the "joystick id" under control panel ?
you can also set a preferred device under there...

The problem in using a Logitech Attack™ 3 Joystick with a G-25/27 is that it's made by Logitech......

There were numerous threads at the "old" RSC on the subject of trying to make Logitech game controllers play nice together.....

Basically, they don't, they won't, they can't.... the problem, I believe is with the logitech side of the software, but I may be wrong, I've read a lot about people with problems but to date, nothing about solutions....

Using any other brand of hardware would be the quickest solution I think...

Cheers, Jules.

i use a Attack 3 with my G27 & have my pedals set to separate "could be a Axis problem" & should come up as separate controllers in the controller settings in windows, i am on Win7 tho and works fine in Rfactor & LFS

I broke my Attack 3 with such unlucky tuning, after buying TH8RS I lost my intrest to joystick to handbrake/shifter projects. Spare some money from drinking weekends and you got true handbraker/shifter, that's my opinion, you can look my attempts Logitech Attack 3 and they were hopeless.
