It would be really cool to drive with others here no-grip, so don't be afraid to challenge me if i'm hanging in the RBRnet lobby (i can't because of too complicated router).
Maybe we could even arrange a little no-grip tournament.

What about doing a race season for RBR like for RT ?

We currently have 6 rally *6 specials=36 tracks, with 2 weather conditions (favorable and defavorable) and very soon I hope, we will have RWD cars!

for the moment, 72*6 cars=432 possible challenges!

I'd love to mix it up with you fellas sometime. I have the rbrnet installed, but I'm too chicken to launch and try to race just yet. (Afraid my skillz arn't up to par)

Give me a couple more weeks and I'll be ready for ya! :D

One note - I race in an online Nascar 2003 / TransAm league, and RBR is NOT conducive to driving a track prepared car. I have to relearn everything when I get back in that car. Even found myself trying to push my handbrake button entering a hairpin the other day. WTF?

My original plannings were also to wait some more time before starting into online competition until my stage times get faster and more robust and maybe wait until the net tool has matured out of it's beta stage.

However, withdrawal syndromes of online absence have become so strong, that I couldn't resist any longer and gave it a try this week. And I'm bound to say: It works much better than I had expected!! The online thrill is back again. I closed my first races with shaking knees, so much more exciting it is when you see a real man's ghost right in front to you, but must not loose concentration on your own driving. There's a natural inhibition not to lapse into risky, hot-lapping driving style, which makes the race experience much more realstic.

Downers at the moment: Sometimes game freezes happens to occur, I guess with higher chance when latency is poor. And of course races with more than two players would be great.

Anyway, to keep a long story short: I can really recommend not to hesitate and join the lobby as soon as possible...

Hi Lowgoods!...Where's that, then?

Well, have a look at the sticky RBRnet post in this forum. Download, start, et voila... :)
