replace backup

recently i have formated my pc and made a backup of Race by the Steam interface, the paste created in the backup have files with strange extensions (at least for me) and cant be executed directly, in the Steam interface i cant see any aplication to make the import of the game, at the momment i am using a mobille internet and the download wold take many time.
Can anyone help with this? thnxs

there isnt any import function, all i can see is "make a backup of the game" or "add a non steam game" i guess they forgot the Steam games :)
