G25 Sequential Shift Mode Problem

Recently performed the "increased h-gate shift resistance" mod detailed in another thread. Everything went as planned and the feel of the h-gate shifter is much better. However upon reassembly I am finding that I no longer have sequential shift mode available.

Physically the selector turns, the shifter moves forward and back as designed, but the software does not detect it.

The light indicating sequential mode does not light as it should.

I have double checked the re-assembly and am finding no loose/broken wire, and have confirmed that the switch which is "open" when in sequential mode appears to be working.

Any help would be appreciated.

it could be the little button at the bottom of were the shifter rod slots in if you know what i mean ??

I'm not sure what your describing? Are you saying there's a button under the shifter rod inside of the white plastic housing?

yes that is right its attached to a circuit bourd under the white thing.
if you tae out the white thing and unscrew the circuit courd you will see it.
