An enormous amount of effort has gone into this mod - 10 years work! Its great to see it making public release.
But there is some sadness that after many years of defying its age, GPL does look very dated now. Then again I see photos of myself and think - who is that old man? It happens to us all.

I always try to help someone more then not, got nothing to apologize for.
All you do is post the same, GPL its great ..... but its old and dated and I dont run it anymore. You always got to give it a little kick. Even at RSC old days.
Heard it countless times like it bothers you or something so many still love it.
GTL GTR2 are dated who cares. ?

You know what I love more about this mod? ..it's the passion and perseverance behind it.
Similar thing as seen for Targa Fiorio.
This may touch a nerve or two inside the most severe GPL-addict but it's already a fact that it's running on an obsolete platform (for instances, the sound-engine is from the stone-age, really piss-poor compared to the modern equivalent) but the guys behind this done it for their sim of choice even with its know limitations, simply because its their passion, and kept at it.
It may be too late also for me, but there's no too late for the release of this sort of project, I totally get the motivation and goal behind this, and many will enjoy it immensely, I'm very certain.
My most sincere and flattering respect for it, my hat is certainly off for these fellas. :up:
