Been struggling to get WRC 2010 to use your G25 Brake pedal instead of Clutch pedal.
1. Using the Logitech Profiler create a profile for WRC 2010
2. At the bottom of the Profiler screen were it says Brake left click
3. Select Axis Properties
4. An options screen opens. At the bottom it says "Brake Mapped To" with a drop down box.
5. Select Clutch in the drop down box and OK.
This worked for me hope it helps those that are struggling with this game.

Thanks but theres an issue with logitech profiler and G27, (at least on win7 x64) the
profiler doesnt regognize the clutch at all.
At this moment, the clutch is not configured in LGS. You can configure it within a game directly though as an analog axis though.

It's still not fixing the fact that it uses combined Axis though is it?

Set to "combined Axis"...then go into the game and set to "Steering Wheel" (Be sure that you hasn't pluged an other Controller in, it works only with one. Exemple. Keyboard and Steering Wheel). Then set the Controls to Default and don't try to change the break, because it won't work in the options. But ingame it will do his work. The other Axis and Buttons you can change as you want.
Sorry for my bad english!
This worked for me and i love this Game now!!!
Ah yeah, don't forget to activate the FFB in the "ingame Options->Controls->FFB on!"
This fix doesn't fix the real problem. Just leave the controls alone and use the brake as the brake. If you use the clutch as the brake, you still have a combined axis. It's crap.
It took me 30 minutes of cursing to finally get my controller set up. I had to disconnect it, launch the game, set everythig to defaults in controllers (using kb). then I got out of the game, reconnected the controller, rebooted the PC and launched the game. Wnt into controller settings- and here's the key....
DO NOT MOVE ANYTHING ON THE WHEEL or gas pedal or brake pedal. Set the controller option to wheel. Without moving the wheel, set the controller options to what you want BUT DO NOT MOVE THE WHEEL, GAS OR BRAKE. The wheel steering options will be fine, so don't mess with that. Set up buttons and assign everything else.. DON'T TOUCH THE GAS OR BRAKE. They will be right.
This game is garbage so far.

I suggest those that are whining about combined AXIS to download DXTweak2, run it, and watch how things really work.. Mind you, as far as I know, it is not supported in Vista or Win7. But as I used to use it all the time to fine tune my wheel, DirectX treats the input the same.

Why not upload the savefile where the wheel settings are located, so peoples problems are solved? It's just a small file in documents and settings!!......Hez.

...For the G25, be sure that you have the newest Driver from the Logitech site, theres a new Windows 7 driver. Install also the DX9 from the WRC-DVD...Thats what I did and then de description I posted on the top...try it!

DXTweak works fine even on Win7 64bit at least as far as viewing the Axis in action goes.
Two videos of DXTweak I've made:
Split Axis:

Combined Axis:

Notice the difference?, how exactly is DirectX treating them the same?, with Split Axis you get three fully independant inputs, with Combined Axis the Brake and Accelerator share the same Axis and cancel each other out, you do or should still have a fully independant Clutch pedal though (with G25 etc) but even if you assign the Clutch as the Brake in WRC you STILL can't use the Accelerator while Braking, bad programming pure and simple.
